Making Compassion a Verb

By definition, the word compassion is a noun meaning “sympathetic pity and concern for the sufferings or misfortunes of others.”  It also happens to be part of the seven principles of Unitarian Universalism.  In some instances many of us my feel helpless when our desire to show compassion in a verbal sense is at its peak.  Dan Davis will share examples of how one might most effectively accomplish this goal.

Start the New Year by being present.

Yoga and Tai Chi with Mike Huber and Dan Davis. Come join us for 45 minutes of basic yoga and tai chi. For beginners, very basic movements. Bring along a yoga mat if you have one.  There will also be a short meditation.   A potluck will follow for all even if you didn’t join the yoga and Tai Chi.
