The Baha’i faith is a major religion, related to Islam in many ways. It is a “further development” or “perfection” of Islam, but that is disputed by Muslims. The history of Baha’i will be discussed briefly, and some of the major tenets of the religion will be presented. While it has similarities to the UU faith, it is fundamentally different in many ways. The religious, social, and spiritual aspects of Baha’i will be discussed. There may be a Baha’i song or two in the program. 

Paul A. Thompson has been a member of All Souls UU for 8+ years. He has served on several committees, and was President of the Board for a year. While in high school, he briefly explored Baha’i.
