What We Need is Here

The tapestry of our living faith as UU’s is lovely and complex and yet there are some “golden threads” that unite us, and give zest, meaning and purpose to our lives. One of those threads is “What We Need is Here” (from a poem by Wendell Berry).

Potluck to immediately follow service; workshop will be after potluck.

Workshop at noon, following service and potluck: Practicing Presence.  Rev. Tollefson and his wife Kristen will be sharing two ways to become a little more fully present in our lives: mindfulness and active listening. Both give us ways to let go of judgement, practice compassion and open our heart, mind and senses to what is actually happening around us.
