Veronica Shukla and Jackie Severin will share the story of Project Food Forest – the non-profit that they founded to plant public food forests all around Sioux Falls. Their mission is “to empower people to feed themselves through agroforestry, edible landscape design, and education.”

The public food forests and the food they yield will be open and available to everyone – with no income limits or qualifications. Food forests will be distributed throughout the city so that all people who are in need of food can walk or bike to a food forest.
